Everyone has to get from place to place, from people in their cars, to the creepy-crawlies under the earth.
By J.H (9th Grade)
Like monstrous caterpillars,
Like little yellow mites,
Like speedy rolly-polly bugs,
Like bugs of different types.
The capital of Bulgaria
Is a bug infested log.
They squirm around the inside
And fill the place with smog.
The monstrous caterpillars,
Known as metros, trams, and buses,
Patrol the larger passageways
And don’t cause many fusses.
The little yellow mites of might
Or taxis as they’re called
Zoom throughout the crowded streets
So try not to get mauled.
And then the bugs of randomness,
Referred as cars by most.
They populate most everywhere
They are a mighty host.
This is how we get around,
Through rain or shine or snow.
You needn’t think of them as bugs,
Just thought you’d like to know.
