As the 2026-2027 school year begins, we have a lot of changes, like a larger student body.

This year, us old-timers (technically, I’m a freshman, but I’ve been here for a couple of years, since our crazy system includes 8th graders in the high school) in the Upper School have welcomed a whopping 5 new students into our school. We had about 7.5 students before, and now we have an average of 13 students per day. This is a pretty large increase, and we’ve had to start dealing with problems we never had before, like fitting enough tables into the main room of our school and figuring out who gets to use the microwave during lunch. We also have to start being good examples and not bicker for the benefit of the young’uns. Aside from that, the Upper School is basically the same as always, albeit slightly louder. And taller, strangely enough.
