Some people just aren’t made for winter. Like Ephraim.
by Ephraim J. (8th Grade)
I hate winter. It’s boring, bleak, cheerless, chilly, clammy, cloudy, cold, colorless, comfortless, damp, dank, dark, dejecting, depressing, desolate, despondent, dim, dingy, disagreeable, disappointing, disheartening, dispiriting, dismal, dreary, dripping, drizzling, dull, feeble, foggy, forlorn, gloomy, icy, lightless, melancholic, miserable, moist, monotonous, muffled, mundane, muted, overcast, rainy, sad, sepulchral, shadowy, slippery, slothful, sluggish, slushy, rarely snowy, sodden, soggy, often squishy, stagnant, stale, stormy, tedious, tiresome, unnecessary, upsetting, wet, wintry, and wretched.
Many wintertime events are none of these things, and I have nothing against them. I just don’t like the season.
